Your notebook stays in the page.

CaseNote processes typed worksheet data in browser memory. It has no login, upload endpoint, external model connection, analytics script or case-system integration. It does not save case data to localStorage, sessionStorage or a database.

Closing is not saving.

Reloading, changing scenarios or clearing the session removes the active worksheet from the page. Download an approved handoff before closing. Browser history restoration, extensions, clipboard managers and operating-system memory are outside this application's control. Clear session is not a forensic erasure guarantee.

Downloads contain what you entered.

Full Markdown and JSON exports include your evidence and case details without redaction. The preview requires explicit review before either download. Once downloaded, files are controlled by your device, sync settings and organization's handling rules.

The optional AI path is separate.

Case free text never automatically populates the AI prompt. A separate shareable summary receives limited pattern masking and exact-term removal, then requires review. Copying puts the approved prompt in your clipboard. Nothing is sent to an AI service by this site. Do not paste a prompt into an unapproved destination.

Ordinary web requests still occur.

Loading the site requests pages, scripts and local fonts from its host. Hosting infrastructure may process ordinary request metadata. Following an external source link opens that publisher's site and its policies apply. Source links do not carry your worksheet contents.

Imported event records

The explorer keeps parsed records, filters and pins in tab memory. JSON exports retain original values and a SHA-256 of UTF-8 source text, not original file bytes. They are unredacted. No record content is sent to a model or service. Clearing removes current page state, not downloaded files or browser-managed copies.
