What is pinned, and what can change?
The Splunk and PowerShell links name specific product versions. Other documentation is maintained in place and has no fixed version in its URL. For those pages, the review date describes when the editor checked the guidance; it does not freeze the publisher's content.
There is no live threat-intelligence feed, rule update feed or automatic content-refresh promise. Source changes need editorial review, tests, a rebuild and publication. The date changes only after that review.
Weekly review procedure.
- Open every primary reference and check redirects, product version, renamed fields and changed limitations.
- Compare the relevant claim with the worksheet prompt and guide example. Update only where the evidence requires it.
- Review redaction limits and verify that the AI path still excludes case text. Re-run timestamp, export and approval-invalidation tests.
- Check the guides at mobile width, build the static site and inspect metadata and links.
- Record the review date and changes. If a source is unavailable, retain its previous date and document the gap instead of marking it reviewed.
Why these questions?
Public junior-analyst discussions describe uncertainty about first steps, unfamiliar tools and investigation notes. They are qualitative signals, not representative research or measured search demand. One example is a new analyst's discussion of feeling out of their depth. No traffic, customer outcome or accuracy claims are inferred from it.
Limits and attribution.
Examples are fictional and the checklist wording is original. Primary-source names identify references, not endorsements or integrations. CaseNote cannot verify your logs, prove an incident, assign severity or determine whether an action is authorized. Use the local playbook and qualified review.
